Sales Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the Shelter Industries sales team, the Sales Administrator plays a key administrative role in supporting the sales team and provides an important link between the salesperson and the client. Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager, and the Vice President of Sales, this position is responsible for processing all sales-related paperwork and is often the first point of contact for customers, who may need assistance with orders, requests and complaints.
- Work with sales team to track daily, weekly, monthly sales reports on customer activity.
- Support the sales team with necessary correspondence.
- Prepare monthly sales reports to support monthly financial reviews.
- Track customer statistics, for specific regions, summarizing data points with market information.
- Prepare sales summaries by region, tracking specific sales data points.
- Assist outside sales representatives with the input of new customer orders.
- Provide support for the new sales hire on-boarding program.
- Support sales activities for trade shows, etc.
- Provide support for direct mail and e-mail campaigns.
- Ensures that all sales support documentation is available and kept up to prescribed inventory levels.
- Assist with the preparation of any and all sales newsletters.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Customer service focused with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive “can do attitude”.
- Organized and a strong ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented and able to deal in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented.

Senior Sales Representative (Greensmart)

- Greensmart Manufacturing: at manufacturing facility in Dawson Creek, BC.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Overall responsible for selling or renting portable/relocatable buildings within allocated sales territories.
- Identifies, qualifies, initiates appointments, and establishes new accounts.
- Responds to customer request for quotation and tenders for modular buildings
- Services and meets existing customer needs
- Recommends new applications and sales strategies
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Represents “Greensmart” at tradeshows as required
- Proactively works on keeping informed on all projects within assigned sales territories, through the review of news articles, trade journals and related publications.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Modular Building sales
- Market knowledge: Oil & Gas, Mining, Transportation, Government Agencies would be beneficial
- Technical understanding of Design/Build process.
- Experience with enterprise software solutions and complex organizations would be advantageous.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Full-time position: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30pm, year-round inside Shelter’s heated factory
- General building construction worker, wood-frame construction
- Includes new construction and retrofitting or repairing pre-built structures.
- Must be familiar with applying various materials or substances, including, but not limited to: vinyl, cement, grout, plaster, paint, flooring, siding and roofing materials.
- Must be able to install electrical, plumbing, heating and/or cooling systems.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- at least 5 years of related experience
- physcially fit and able to carry 50 – 75 lbs.
- Must be familiar with using a number of tools and machines
- competency in verbal and written English is required
- competency in reading design drawings, as well as mathematics, chemistry and physics as it relates to a construction work environment
- Millwork experience an asset, but not required
